FST BERKSHIRE (Broadmoor Hospital)
Established during 1999, FST Berkshire was the first project within the FST family to offer work opportunities for people within the forensic mental health system.
It was developed from a pilot scheme following a successful scoping project, around developing an FST work project within a high secure environment.
Based in Broadmoor Hospital, we face the daily challenge of running a business from within a high secure environment. To achieve this, it’s essential we all pull together as a team and our workforce team of approximately thirty people is involved in a number of different commercial propositions.
Our major customer is the Estates Department within Broadmoor, who sub-contract us to do gardening, ground clearance and renovation jobs.
We are also involved in production work, servicing both internal and a small, but growing number of external customers.
Other work services include repairing catering uniforms, making curtains, repairs and alterations to clothing and bespoke t-shirt printing.
